History

Simero, which stands single membrane roofing, was founded in Delaware Ohio in 1981 by John Howald, current owner of Howald Industrial Park. Simero started in specializing in single membrane roofing but has branched out into related products and services over the years. Simero has been fortunate to have numerous long term employees including two with over 40 years, several with over 30 years, and even more with over 20 years of service.

In 2020 as Covid was approaching its height in the US, local business owner Micah Sparks purchased the company from John Howald to continue its growth, reignite sales, and to continue relations with the companies who have come to rely on Simero's services over the 40+ years.
